This absolute encoder uses modern fast technology to transmit the position value of the corresponding shaft through the SSI interface (Synchronous Serial Interface). The maximum resolution of the AVM58 is 65536 steps per turn and 16384 turns. A microprocessor is included in the AVM58 series of encoder devices. The control module sends a series of pulses to the absolute encoder to obtain position data, which is then rotated to simultaneously send a string of position data to the control module. The function input counting direction selection and the zero setting function (preset value) can be selected. This multi-turn absolute encoder has a clamped flange output shaft 10mm × 20mm, or a synchronous flange output shaft 6mm × 10mm available. Electrical connection is via a 12-pin round plug, or a plug with a 1m cable is optional.
