Today, the editor will take you to meet such a powerful maker who started his business after retirement, Zhu Shide, general manager of Yichang Jiangsan Technology Development Co., Ltd. At an age when one should be enjoying a comfortable retirement, Zhu Shide is still groping forward on the road of entrepreneurship. In the space on the 8th floor of Building 11, Zhu Shide and his team are stationed. Zhu Shide, who is already 70 years old this year, shows no sign of old age at all. Instead, he gives people a very energetic and friendly feeling. After a few simple conversations, Mr. Zhu gradually gets into the swing and tells the editor in detail about his entrepreneurial journey.

Editor: Hello, Mr. Zhu. First of all, welcome you to settle in the park. As usual, please introduce your company first. Mr. Zhu: OK. Our company was previously located in the Gezhouba office and has just settled in the park. I am very glad to gather in the park and develop together with everyone. In short, our company is a high-tech enterprise integrating scientific research, production, sales and service. It was founded in June 2000. Mainly, it produces products such as lifting moment limiters, lifting overload limiters, lifting height limiters, intelligent anemometers, and angle sensors. The products are exquisitely designed, advanced in technology and reliable in performance, and are suitable for the safety protection of various lifting equipment.

Editor: What prompted you to move out of your original office space and choose the park? Mr. Zhu: Our previous office space was rented, which was very unstable and the property management was also incomplete. So I have been considering changing the office location. When I learned from a friend that Building 11 of the park was launched, first of all, the price attracted me, which is relatively acceptable for entrepreneurs. After an on-the-spot inspection of the park, I think that the conditions in terms of environment and atmosphere are all good. Of course, as a technology enterprise, we pay more attention to the gold content of the technology enterprise incubator in the park. So we purchased six sets in Building 11 as our new office location. Editor: Judging from your age, this period you are in is not a prime time for entrepreneurship. Why do you want to start a business only after retirement? Mr. Zhu: In fact, before retirement, I worked in a state-owned enterprise and was engaged in management work. Based on my work advantages, I accumulated certain contacts and resources during my tenure, which also laid a solid foundation for my later entrepreneurship. After retirement, due to factors such as the economic environment, I had the idea of starting a business. Coupled with the support and encouragement of friends in the circle, I, who didn't want to be mediocre, finally threw myself into the entrepreneurial cause with a dream and without hesitation, planning to make a desperate effort. As a result, Jiangsan Technology was born.

Editor: Since its establishment in June 2000, it has been the sixteenth year. What honors has your company won? Mr. Zhu: Our company has successively won many honor certificates and patent certificates, and has passed the special equipment type test certificate issued by the national authoritative department, the type approval certificate of China Classification Society and the ISO9001 quality management system certification. It is a leading enterprise in the production of marine moment limiters in China.

Editor: As an independent research and development and production enterprise, your team must be constantly improving and upgrading. So what kind of organizational structure does your company have now? Mr. Zhu: Our company now has six departments, namely the general manager's office, the finance department, the technical quality inspection department, the production and installation department, the material management department and the market development department. We have more than 20 professional technicians and 35 sets of production and testing equipment. It is a professional company with exquisite technology and complete equipment.

Editor: What plans have you made for the future of your company? Mr. Zhu: At present, with strict quality management, excellent product quality, perfect after-sales service and successful marketing achievements, we have created the brand advantage of "Jiangsan". The company has established long-term cooperative relationships with many crane production enterprises. Our products are spread all over factories, docks, mines and offshore platforms. Some products are also sold well overseas and have won unanimous praise from customers. In the later stage, we will adhere to the business philosophy of "establishing an image by being honest and trustworthy and creating a brand by striving for excellence", fully strengthen employees' quality awareness and enterprise quality management, strictly control the quality of each link of production, continuously meet customers' new needs, and make unremitting efforts to build a brand with industry influence. For Zhu Shide, although the entrepreneurial road after retirement is not exactly "starting from scratch", it is by no means an easy thing. Now, although he has achieved some success, after all, he is already old. To avoid the fatigue of traveling, Zhu Shide has settled down nearby in Qingfeng Huayuan.
